AI notes app
The AI Notes App for Your Mac
Nod is an AI notes app for macOS that lives in your menu bar. It captures meetings, calls, and voice notes from your Mac's own audio, turns each one into clean structured notes, and lets you ask questions across everything you've captured.
One app for every conversation
Instead of scattered notes and forgotten recordings, Nod keeps a single searchable record of what was said. It captures any audio your Mac plays — Zoom, Google Meet, Teams, Slack huddles, even a phone call on speaker — without joining the call as a bot.
- macOS-native menu-bar app with a floating panel
- Captures meetings, calls, and voice notes
- Structured recap: topics, decisions, action items, open questions
- 'Ask Nod' semantic search across your whole history
Private by default
Capture is local on your Mac; transcription runs in the EU cloud — each audio segment is sent through a European proxy to a transcription service and discarded the instant the text returns, with Zero Data Retention and no model training. Only the transcript and summary are saved, encrypted at rest in the EU. See the security page.
