Nod for consultants
You carry six engagements at once, and each one expects you to remember the thing they mentioned in passing five weeks ago. Nod captures every client call from your Mac's own audio — no bot joins the room — and keeps each engagement as its own memory you can ask. So the scope you agreed on in the kickoff is still quotable in month four.

For independent consultants
“What did we agree was out of scope?”
Scope creep starts as a sentence nobody wrote down. Get the sentence back, with the call it was said on.
For account managers
“What has this account asked for this quarter?”
Every request across every call, so the QBR is a summary of the truth and not of your inbox.
For agency leads
“Which clients are waiting on something from us?”
One question across the whole book of business, before a client has to send the follow-up email.
A day with Nod
Action items
A consulting relationship is a long series of small promises. Nod pulls the ones with your name on them out of every call — what you said you would send, who is blocked until you do, and by when — so the client never has to be the one who remembers.
Ask Nod
Scope your question to a single engagement and get an answer drawn only from that client's calls, with the sessions it came from. That is what makes it usable in front of the client: you can check the source before you repeat the claim.
Engagement memory
The kickoff is where the engagement is defined, and it is also the conversation you are furthest from when it matters. Nod keeps it as retrievable in month four as it was the day after, which is what turns a disagreement about scope into a quotation.
Client calls carry things that are not yours to leak: their numbers, their internal politics, the reorganisation they have not announced. Nod captures the audio your Mac is already playing, through native macOS APIs, so nothing dials into the call and nothing shows up in the participant list. Each segment goes through a European proxy to a hosted transcription service under Zero Data Retention, and is discarded the second the text comes back. No audio is stored at either end. Only the transcript and the summary are kept, encrypted at rest in the EU, and nothing is used to train a model. The full detail is on the security page.
The billable hour is not the problem. The unbillable half-hour after every call, spent writing up what was just said and still forgetting the one detail that mattered, is.
Yes. Sessions go into folders, and Ask Nod can be scoped to one folder, so a question about one engagement is answered only from that engagement's calls. That is a Pro feature — see pricing.
No. Nod captures your Mac's system audio rather than dialling in, so nothing appears in the participant list and no recording banner fires on your client's screen. No bot doesn't mean no consent. Recording law varies by country and by state, and some of it asks everyone on the call to agree — so tell people you're taking notes. See recording consent laws.
It does not matter. Nod captures at the operating-system level rather than integrating with a meeting service, so Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Webex, a Slack huddle or a phone on speaker all work the same way. It is macOS only.
No — not by us and not by our subprocessors. Transcription runs under Zero Data Retention and the language-model calls have training disabled. Details on the security page.
