What Nod does instead
Nod listens through your Mac's own audio, so nothing joins and there is nothing to admit from a waiting room. It writes the transcript and a structured summary, then discards the audio. Capture is local on your Mac; transcription isn't. Each audio segment is sent through a European proxy to hosted transcription, and Nod discards it when the text returns. No model trains on the data.
