Where tl;dv is the better answer

Can tl;dv record without a bot?
Yes. tl;dv's desktop app for Mac and Windows captures audio from your computer with no bot in the call. That mode is audio only; video recording still uses the bot. Nod has a single mode, and it never records video.
Does Nod keep a recording I can play back?
No. Audio is held in memory for about five seconds while it is transcribed, then discarded. You get the transcript and summary, not a file to replay. If playback matters to you, tl;dv is the better fit.
Are both hosted in Europe?
